Reflections

Reflections is an interactive web experience built with p5.js that uses AI-guided prompts to help users explore complex emotional relationships. Rather than relying on words, the app invites users to externalize their inner world through drawing... using color, shape, and space as a language for feelings that are difficult to articulate. The experience moves through three relationship-based themes — someone you miss, someone you resent, someone you compare yourself to — each structured into three deepening stages: Externalization, Perspective Shift, and Self Reflection. As users draw, the system observes behavioral patterns like stroke intensity, color choices, and time spent per prompt. At the end, an AI generates a personalized summary surfacing emotional patterns, empathy shifts, and contrasts in how users represent others versus themselves.
